Le Combava

Le Combava *** has 17 large rooms – from 36m² – including kitchenette with microwave, kettle and minibar, satellite TV, dining room and internet with free WiFi.
Le Combava*** presents four (04) catering areas: inner room, terrace, canopy and pizzeria. Hosting up to 100 guests our restaurant offers gourmet international and Malagasy dishes, barbecue and pizzas. It is open all day from 12h to 14h and from 18h to 21h. With la Rotisserie and Ivato’s farm Auberge, le Combava is the only restaurant in the capital to cook organic vegetables and farmed poultry « A la carte », produced from its own farm.
L’Auberge de la Ferme d’Ivato
L’Auberge is specialized in french regional dishes, located in the heart of the Farm where all the vegetables and poultry used for cooking are produced. In a bucolic place timeless, l’Auberge is open on Saturdays and Sundays at noon and by appointment in the week.
Ivato’s farm houses too a forest-inspired cottage which can hold up to 15 guests. Proudly standing among the trees, the cottage offers a beautiful view over a stream. In the morning you can enjoy peace and birdsong, only 10 minutes from the airport. The Cottage is therefore the perfect place to relax and to spend a weekend in family.
La Ferme d’Ivato
Ivato’s farm extends over a ground of 13 ha, it contains:
- 1 ha of market gardening, including organic fruit and vegetables certified by ECOCERT and 3.5 ha of geranium and organic ravintsara
- Breeding of ten kind of farm animals
- A lively hostel in the middle of the countryside, cooking regional dishes from fresh farm products
- A cottage for accommodation, surrounded by greenery with a sweeping views on the farm’s pond.
- A water point where the farm draws its sources
- A botanical garden with one hundred variety of orchids and a dozen endemic trees of Madagascar.
An organic farm
Ivato’s farm operates various facilities that comply the « ORGANIC » concept for its growing program. Vegetables are planted on a mound according to well defined procedures. Varieties of seed are selected for satisfactory quantitative and qualitative yields. Our poultry are bred in a livestock farmer concept. They live in a craft fitted and ventilated building. They eat only greenery and kept outside in fields. We also have orchids planting space regularly maintained by a specialist. Our ravintsara and geranium also supplies the international organic essential oil market. The farm is also an example of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of the TERRA group.
A relaxation area and seminar
In collaboration with the hostel, every year Ivato’s farm offers various programs for Tana’s company work conciles. We design and organize specialized team building seminars for companies. It is an opportunity for office workers to thrive in a wilderness experience. Ivato’s farm reserve a full day with activities both playful, physical and intellectual in a real farm. The aim is to offera formula of integration and cohesion of a group outside the framework of the daily professional.
